Two logs inoculated with shiitake mushroom. Only available for a short time. Length approx. 90 cm, diameter approx. 12 cm. Inoculated last year, now mature.
A mature log is a good alternative if you couldn't get any fresh logs this year, you don't want to inoculate yourself or you don't want to wait so long for the mushrooms. You should be able to harvest several times a year for several years.
Wood types: Oak, beech or hornbush (similar to the figure).
The logs should be put upright in the garden where they can get wet when it rains. They remain there throughout the year (in Winter too).
