Mushroom types for beginners for growing in the garden

If you are a beginner we recommend above all the shiitake and oyster mushrooms.

It's true that shiitake needs lot of patience until the first mushrooms appear (12-18 months) but they are so tasty and healthy that you should accept the time it takes mother nature to grow them. After the first harvest, you can reliably expect more mushrooms several times a year for many years from a single log. So it's worth it!
