Golden oyster mushroom
The golden oyster mushroom (Pleurotus cornucopiae var. citrinopileatus) is a relative of the oyster mushroom but is not native to Western Europe. It is a strong grower like the oyster mushroom but needs more warmth to produce mushrooms on logs. You can normally harvest several times in the year, roughly from May to September. The golden oyster mushroom is easy to grow indoors throughout the year in flower pots on straw pellets. Our grain spawn can also be used to grow it on straw bales.
